My name is Marlin T. Ketter, and I am in my third year of teaching at West Hartsville Elementary School.  I am a graduate of Coker College, where I graduated Cum Laude in May 2012.  While at Coker, I became a proud member of NAfME, Kappa Delta Pi, The National Society of Leadership and Success, and NATS.   I was recently inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa, and served as an adjudicator for district, all county, and region events, and also had the opportunity to complete an honors project - Reaching Children through Music:  A Middle School Choral Clinic - designed to reach middle school children through music one step at a time.  I also had the opportunity to be a part of the Darlington County School District Art-Summer Program for the last six year, serving as an assistant band director last year.

Alongside teaching at West Hartsville, I also teach at two other elementary schools including:  North Hartsville Elementary School, and Southside Early Childhood Center.  I work with the leader of Boy Scout troop 522, and assist the band at Hartsville High School.  Hartsville High School Band continues to develop and adapt to being a well-rounded program excelling in all facets of band programing.
